On October 22, 2013, Daphne and Charles Chan hosted a Breguet Private Reception at Hendricks Tavern in Roslyn, NY for Michael Nelson, President of Breguet North America, and Mark and Candy Udell, CEO and President of London Jewelers. Nearly 80 guests attended this celebration of time and close relationships with dear friends. Guests were able to converse over hot hors d’oeuvres and wines and liquors, and view the latest collection of Breguet’s timepieces. A three-course dinner reception along with opening greetings followed the cocktail hour.
Mr. Chan started off the opening greeting and said, “We were totally mesmerized by the timeless beauty of HRH The Queen of Naples–It’s the name of a Breguet watch. And so I acquired that Queen for my Queen. Gentlemen, this is the only time you can bring home a Queen without getting in trouble!” and this brought on laughter and applause.
The night ended with Breguet and London Jeweler’s goodie bags and the guests left with a great memory in time.
